Accessibility statement - LOST escape rooms

LOST escape rooms is committed to giving equal, respectful and accessible service to all its customers, including people with disabilities. We work to make the venue, this website and our phone service accessible, in line with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

This page sets out the website's accessibility level, the adjustments made and the known limitations, the accessibility arrangements at the venue, and how to contact us about accessibility. It is a translation of our accessibility statement in Hebrew (the Hebrew original).

The website's accessibility level

The website's accessibility adjustments follow Israeli Standard 5568, "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines", which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 at level AA, and where possible also WCAG 2.1 at level AA.

The website works in the current versions of the common browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox), on computers and mobile phones. The accessibility adjustments were last checked on 26 October 2026, in Chrome on a computer and at a mobile phone's screen size, with automated tests and manual checks of keyboard navigation, text enlargement and the display modes of the accessibility menu.

Accessibility adjustments on the website

  • An accessibility menu on every page of the website: the red button on the right edge of the screen (on the Hebrew and Arabic pages, on the left edge). The menu offers: text enlargement in three steps, wider text spacing, page zoom up to 200%, high, dark or light contrast, grayscale, highlighted links, highlighted headings, a readable font, reading text aloud on a click (in browsers that have a voice for the page's language), keyboard navigation and a highlighted focus, stopping animations and videos, a large mouse cursor, showing the alternative text of images, and resetting all settings. Your choices are saved in your own browser only.
  • The website is written in Hebrew, and its main pages (the home page, the room pages, booking and this statement) are also available in English, Russian and Arabic. Every version is set to its own language and reading direction, with headings in a hierarchical structure and marked navigation and content regions.
  • The website can be used with the keyboard (Tab and Shift+Tab to move, Enter to activate, Esc to close windows), and the focus is visible. On every page, the first press of Tab shows a "Skip to main content" link, and the second reaches the accessibility menu.
  • Meaningful images have alternative text, and the map, the video player and the payment page embedded in the website have a title that describes their content.
  • In the booking forms and the request for another time, every field has a label, required fields are marked, and error messages appear next to the relevant field and are announced to screen readers.
  • The video at the opening of the home page plays without sound. Anyone who has set "reduce motion" on their device, or chose "Stop animations and videos" in the accessibility menu, gets the page at rest. The rooms' videos play only on a click.
  • The website fits phones and screens of different sizes, and the content rearranges itself when the text is enlarged or the browser zooms in.

Known limitations and alternatives

We keep improving the website's accessibility. Despite our efforts, some parts of it may not be fully accessible. These are the limitations we know of, and the alternative way to get the same service:

  • The opening film on the home page is an animated sequence. It can be stopped as described above, and all the information it shows also appears further down the page and on the room pages.
  • The secure payment page of the clearing company, the Google map and the YouTube player are embedded in the website and run by outside providers, who are responsible for their accessibility. If you have trouble with any of them, you can book, pay the deposit and get directions by phone at 058-6777333 or on WhatsApp.
  • Some videos on the website have no captions. The videos are not needed to make a booking, and the information about each room is written on the room's page.
  • Some pages are in Hebrew only: the articles, the terms and the privacy policy. For help with any of them, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail.
  • Once you choose a time on the website, it is held for you for 20 minutes to leave a deposit by credit card. If you need more time, you can complete the booking by phone.
  • Some of the articles on the website were moved from the previous website as they were written. If you find content in them that is not accessible, please let us know and we will fix it.

Accessibility at the venue

The escape rooms are at 3 Yosef Levi St., Kiryat Bialik, and are open 7 days a week, from 18:30 to 05:00 (another time can be arranged in advance).

  • There is no disabled parking near the venue.
  • The way to the venue is not accessible to wheelchairs.
  • The entrance door to the waiting courtyard is wide and free of obstacles.
  • The venue has no accessible toilet.
  • Accessible service is given in the venue's hosting courtyard.
  • There is an accessible chair in the hosting courtyard.
  • Plain-language information and an induction loop hearing system are available on site.
  • The game rooms contain hidden (and narrow) passages and are not accessible to people with mobility impairments, because of the nature of the game.
  • We will gladly give detailed information about the obstacles in the game rooms, and about adjustments and special preparations that can be made in advance for people with disabilities: phone 058-6777333, e-mail order@lo-st.co.il.

The aids on site – the induction loop, plain-language information and the accessible chair in the hosting courtyard – are given on request. For groups, birthdays and events, we recommend asking for the adjustments you need in advance, so that we can prepare.

Phone service and other ways to get service

Everything the website offers – information about the rooms, free times, booking and paying the deposit – is also available by phone at 058-6777333, on WhatsApp at 058-6777333 and by e-mail at order@lo-st.co.il.

Accessibility coordinator and accessibility requests

The accessibility coordinator of LOST escape rooms: Dimitri Porkhun. Phone: 058-6777333, e-mail: order@lo-st.co.il, office: 3 Yosef Levi St., Kiryat Bialik.

Did you come across something that is not accessible on the website, at the venue or in the phone service, or do you need an accessibility adjustment? Contact the accessibility coordinator, or us by phone and WhatsApp at 058-6777333 or by e-mail at order@lo-st.co.il. So that we can handle your request quickly, tell us what the problem is, on which page or where you came across it, and which device, browser or assistive technology you used.

Every request is handled as soon as possible, and no later than 60 days from its receipt, as the regulations require. Until it is fixed, we will give you the service in an accessible alternative way, for example by phone.

Temporary suspension of accessibility adjustments

If an accessibility adjustment at the venue or on the website is suspended, or is expected to be suspended, for more than a week, we will announce it on this page and at the venue, together with the alternatives we will offer in the meantime.
